Clinical Psychologist Gerda Boyesen (1922-2005) established a new branch of knowledge known as Biodynamic Psychology and Psychotherapy – a biological and psychological approach to understanding health and wellbeing. Through the work of IOBM – Gerda Boyesen’s theories and practices have been applied in the new and wider field of Biodynamic Medicine.

This means that In addition to our biodynamic psychology and psychotherapy work we also treat a range of physical and mental health symptoms and conditions in accordance with biodynamic knowledge. The biodynamic philosophy brings new understandings and subsequent resolution for many biological and psychological upsets and brings peace to body, mind, spirit and soul.

‘Biodynamic Medicine’ is defined as the art of healing in accordance with biodynamic principles. Based upon the emerging evidence base for long established biodynamic practices, IOBM is committed to the wider application of these methods and to the development of new protocols to grow the field of Biodynamic Medicine.
